Visual Art

One of my favorite forms of R&R is traditional painting. I've tried watercolor and gouache, but my favorite medium is acrylic. Occasionally, I share my work on Instagram.

I love bringing drawings to life through animation. Since it takes so much time, the only chance I've had to create the "illusion of life" has been for school credit.

In high school, I took a class taught by a former Disney animator. My rendition of the classic "bouncing ball" animation was featured in a student compilation that placed in the Walt Disney Family Museum's annual animation competition for beginners!

In college, I took an into animation class and 2D animation class, both of which gave me the chance to use professional equipment that I couldn't afford before.

Some of my favorite animations are compiled here for you enjoyment!

ARTD 220 explored type anatomy, page layout, hierarchy, and more.

ARTD 110 taught the fundamentals of Adobe Creative Cloud using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. This was my first experience designing vector graphics.

One of the projects I'm most proud of was a set of Spotify playlist covers. I have continued adding to the collection after school ended, with a running total of more than 30 images.
